Love is a wonderful thing--so wonderful, in fact, that you may feel the desire to memorialize it in the form of your mouse cursor. Love AnimatIon Cursor lets you do exactly that. To be quite honest, the program isn't really our cup of tea stylistically; on top of that, it's not particularly easy to use. But if you're in love with love, we suppose it could be a cute addition to your desktop.

We installed Love AnimatIon Cursor and weren't sure what to do next; there was no interface, no system-tray icon, and no change in our cursor. Then we noticed an HTML file on our desktop; we opened it, and it tersely informed us that if the new cursor weren't active, we'd have to restart our computer. We did, and sure enough, our cursor was transformed from the usual arrow to a pulsing pink heart with the word "love" written in. Awww, how sweet. There was nothing functionally wrong with the cursor, but it quickly became annoying, and we set about trying to get rid of it. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this without going to the mouse options in the Control Panel and selecting a different theme. Once we had changed themes, Love AnimatIon Cursor vanished from the options; there doesn't seem to be any way to switch back and forth between the Love AnimatIon Cursor and the regular cursor without repeated installing the program. We could be wrong about this, but since there's no Help file, we can't say for sure.

Overall, Love AnimatIon Cursor works fine, but it won't be for everyone. If you're sharing a computer with someone who's not into it, the hassle of switching between cursors will likely be more trouble than it's worth.
